  • We do not run third-party analytics scripts.

What this site is

Generation Bitcoin is a static educational website. The pages you read are pre-built files served by a hosting provider. There is no interactive backend on this domain, no comment system, no member area, no shopping cart, and no newsletter. Reading the site does not require any account, identity, or consent dialog.

What we collect directly

Nothing. We do not run analytics tags, advertising trackers, social media trackers, fingerprinting scripts, session replay tools, or any other client-side telemetry. There are no first-party cookies used for tracking.

What our hosting provider sees

The site is hosted on a static hosting platform. As with every web server, requests for a page result in a standard server log entry. Those logs typically include the requested URL, the time of the request, the response status, the visitor's IP address, and a user-agent string sent by the browser. These are operational records used to deliver pages, protect against abuse, and resolve faults. They are not joined to identities by us and are not used for marketing.

Cookies

The site itself does not set tracking cookies. The hosting platform may set short-lived technical cookies for security or routing, which are limited to operational use.

Search

On-site search, where present, is performed locally in your browser using a static index that ships with the site. Search terms are not sent to a server controlled by us.

Email contact

If you choose to email us via the address listed on the contact page, we will see the contents of your message and your email address. We use those only to reply. We do not add senders to a mailing list. There is no mailing list.

Children

This site is built to be classroom-safe and does not collect information about visitors. We do not knowingly process personal information from any visitor. Younger readers should still avoid sending us personal information by email; for any educational query, a teacher or parent is welcome to write on their behalf.

External links

A small number of pages link to a single external institutional reference each. Those external sites operate under their own privacy notices. We have no control over them and do not share visitor information with them.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes in a way that affects readers, the change will be recorded on the changelog. The most recent version of this page is always the active one.
