What to contact us about
- Corrections. If something on the site is wrong, point at the specific page and sentence. We will read it.
- Clarifications. If a paragraph confused you, that is useful feedback.
- Suggestions. If you would like us to cover a topic, please describe the question you wish the page had answered.
- Citations and reuse. If you are a teacher, librarian, or student and you have a question about reusing content, see terms first; if you still have a question, we are happy to clarify.
What we do not respond to
- Requests for personal financial advice. We do not provide it. See about.
- Requests to recover wallets, keys, or recovery phrases. We cannot do that and nobody can. See support.
- Pitches for guest posts, link insertions, paid placements, sponsorships, or affiliate offers. The site does not run them.
- Press releases or token announcements.
- Requests for "partnership" that are sales emails in disguise.
How to send a useful message
- Be specific. Name the page. Quote the sentence.
- Be brief. Two short paragraphs is almost always enough.
- Skip the introductions. We do not need a backstory. We need the question.
- Do not include sensitive information. See the warning at the top of this page.
Why there is no contact form on this page
A contact form would require running a script, accepting attachments, or routing through a third-party service. None of those is consistent with how this site is built. The site is static, deliberately boring, and free of trackers. For now, the most reliable way to reach us is the channel listed below, and we treat that simplicity as a feature rather than a limitation.
Where to send messages
Send messages to contact at genbitcoin dot org, written that way to discourage automated harvesting. Replace "at" with the @ sign and "dot" with a full stop. Please keep messages in plain text where possible, and do not attach executables.
Response time
We aim to respond to corrections quickly and to other messages when we can. This is a small education-only site, not a commercial helpdesk, and the response time reflects that. If you do not hear back within a reasonable window, a polite second message is welcome.
If your question is about safety
Please read support and wallet safety first. Many questions are answered there in more detail than we could give in an email reply, and you will be able to act faster from those pages than from a delayed email.
If your question is about the site itself
For editorial position, see about. For data handling, see privacy. For reuse and citation, see terms. Those three pages answer most queries.
